Halör Market 2010 - The Viking market at Fotevikens Museum
The fifteenth market at Foteviken
Almost 10 000 Vikings have visited Foteviken since the first small market 1995 with only four tents and twenty Vikings. Last year more than 700 Vikings came to the market. This year we have tried to reduce the increasing number of Vikings because it’s such a big task to manage this event. We have however this year received more than 500 notifications.
It has become a tradition for a lot of Vikings to arrive early and, together with our friend association “SVEG”, celebrate Midsummer on Foteviken. On this day the Viking Reserve is closed to ordinary visitors.
